Aphonopelma chalcodes EWLs!!!
I pulled the sac because I’d feared I’d gotten it wet and am overjoyed to find they are already “eggs with legs”! =D
@crone That I don’t know yet but hope to find out soon! And did I mention I have another A. chalcodes eggsac? (same father, different mother)

I think I will have to maintain some communally at first...

Feed smart...buy a 100 count of mealworms for like $4, dice them into 1/4ths and that $4 can feed 400 slings...no need to catch crickets to feed and easy to locate if not eaten...plus they are a fatty meal, so you can feed them less often and still fatten them quick.

@cold blood That sounds good — thank you for the recommendation! :) I was considering tiny prey but that would be very time-consuming when they are individually housed! :wideyed: I used to alternate diced mealworm and small pre-killed crickets for small or timid slings — pinheads die off too quickly to be economical and I’ve read that fruit flies should only be used on occasion.
