Can anybody ID this good-looking son of a gun? I find myself getting really interested in the spiders of Chiapas and vicinity. I'm just drawn to limnal spaces I guess, having spent much of my life bordering Mexico to the north. Perhaps it's time to pay attention to the southern border for a bit.
Aren't ockerti more pink than orange-red in the abdomen? I don't think it's one of those, between the misplaced location and the
oh-so-very orangeness of that boo-tey.
I have seen some that have really orange abdomen with black/grey legs but I’ve seen more with an as you say pinker abdomen and they have like pinky hairs on the legs too. Could be a mongrel, Thrixopelma/vagans hybrid! That’s confused about where it belongs and has gone on some sort of pilgrimage to Central America!
