Hi Nephila. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you just joined the boards, which I recently realized. So, to be clear, I hope you know I was kidding about that beautiful spider being a Chilean Rose. It's definitely not! Of course, I don't know your depth of experience. Stunning spider!

Not so new to the hobby if you were thinking Homoeomma. Any idea where it is from, any details on history would help. Ie, if you know which country it comes from !!!??!! That would narrow things alot!!
But, im thinking more like Thrixopelma, but not any of the described species or perhaps Lasiodorides, but the spermathecae should be lobed. Are you looking at the proper recepticles of the spermathecae there, ie is it truely completely fused with two tiny nodules on the upper edges?
