Grammostola actaeon Juvenile/Sub-Adult Female

I love this girl so much and I remember how happy I was when I found out she was female. She is getting slightly less skittish since her last moult - she is probably close to 4". She did such a huge jump in size after last moult, that she was looking thin enough to worry me. I'm not worried anymore.
Beautiful girl! :) I think my little one is in premolt because s/he actually refused food for the first time.

@WolfSoon You are going to love this species. I always leaned towards Grammostolas, but this is the girl who made it my favourite genus.

@VanessaS So happy to hear that. With this one and my pulchra sling, I’m really feeling the Grammostola love already! I’m waiting on the other Grammies as treats for myself down the road. :D

@WolfSoon G.pulchra has always been, and will always be, my absolute favourite species. This girl has grown 4" in a shorter period of time than either of my female pulchra grew 2".

@VanessaS That’s good to hear! Even after researching them I wasn’t clear on their growth rate. Mine seems to be molting pretty often so far! Hopefully a female though :p

I'm more of an aphonopelma girl generally, but jeez, how I love this species! What a beautiful beautiful girl.

This is so gorgeous. I'm trying to decide between iheringi and actaeon so I googled "grammostola actaeon adult" and your picture caught my attention and I thought 'that looks like a Vanessa picture' and sure enough it is! I really wish they always kept the wine red abdomen, it's so beautiful.
