hamorii
How to tell the difference between hamorii and smithi? To me they look the same? Beautiful spider btw
 
hamorii isn't as large...as for the subtle differences, I couldn't help you on that...but I am sure spermatheca would be one clear indicator.
 
@cold blood I thought that they were the same. I read that the b. smithi was incorrectly identified as a different species than b. hamorii, and they are really one and the same ("b. smithi" as a classification being eliminated). Is this true?
 
@ScaryGhosts What was thought to be B. smithi, turned out (after a revision of taxonomy) to actually be hamorii....what was believe to be annitha turned out to be the real smithi....or more accurately, a junior synonym of smithi

So changes were made to correct long standing mistakes.
