Psalmopoeus irminia sac
Small sac, counting ~40. Was wrapped weirdly. Still happy though :)
@cold blood yep, was 8 min start to finish. He was under her for only about 15s. And insertion was fast. Maybe all went well and cage cinconditi were off. Maybe my male wasnt very fertile. She was a first time mom.

My first Psalm pairing went like this....

Walks through room, look in on a cam and realizes, omg, its a MM (I hadn't noticed).....oh, there's a sperm web...grabbed the male and female, put them together, mated in about 2 min and the MM went back. From the tine I noticed I had a MM, to the time I put the MM back was easily less than 5 min...sac was 128.

Now some just have small sacs for whatever reason, I doubt fertility was an issue, as you do have many fertilized eggs there...being young probably played a role in the size of the sac. Sometimes young females have smaller sac sizes IME...not always, but often enough.

First sacs also usually see a good mother IME... have great luck with young females.

You know what? As a non-professional and only occasional breeder, I would be delighted with a smaller sac. Taking care of 40 slings is a pleasure. Taking care of 400 slings totally sucks.

@cold blood and that's what I like about Psalmies. Some of those that produce a thousand plus babies, that just freezes my blood thinking about it! You ought to get some kind of award for bringing up a sac of LPs.
