Received this mystery spider from a gentleman who could unfortunately no longer care for his arachnids.
However, we are stumped as to what exactly this one is. The container is labelled "(MIZA) P. bigottale". Possibly misspelled. Does anyone recognise this name?
I will try to get a better picture. Though it is difficult because it is very, very fast. It doesn't help that my camera is broken so I have to use my phone, which takes poor pictures.
I have never heard of this name either, so I'm guessing it must be misspelled. I may end up having to go through all genera beginning within the letter P and try to find a match lol
I am thinking it is possibly Selenocosmia hainanum, but I can't be sure. The label bears little resemblance to this name, but I'm doubting that ''P. bigotrale" actually exists at this point lol
