yeah that seems to be the obvious one. it looks like a phormictopus but it could be anything. most likely a male that went through the ultimate moult. i don't know what death does to tarantula coloration. but the fading to me sugests to me that it's a P auratus or maybe P platus
haha ya..it survived the transport over here and lasted about 3 weeks..not sure if it was unhealthy to begin with but there was no certain cause of death..even ate great once back in the states
