Saw this guy in a pet store the other day labled as "birdeater". It looks like an asian species to me, and had some web spun around, but not a whole lot. But of course i wouldnt be asking you guys if i actually had faith in my own opinion. Any ideas?
Also, not asking because im interested in buying it. Just curious as to how serious of a mis-label this is. And im also aware its not the best picture, but i did the best i could.
Asian, yes. I'm not good enough in differentiating all the Haplopelmas/Cyriopagopus to tell the species, but it's definitely in that genus. Pretty serious mislabelling.
@Nightstalker47@miss moxie Honestly C. vonwirthi was one of my major guesses. Makes me happy to have other people agree with that, since I'm still so new. @boina thanks for chiming in. Im wondering if i should even bother telling them. It wouldnt make any difference in the long run, knowing this store, but... still. I got my seemani there, and the guy literally juggled it around with his hands when i bought it. If he does that with this....
Also, is $30 a good price for a 4 or 5 inch specimen?
