now with the new lens I spotted some weird things on the chelicerae of my E. atrica, is it possible for small true spiders to have such parasites? maybe mites? dust mites? :o
Looks like mites. Based on the location, likely hitch hiker mites just hanging out in hopes of snagging some morsels of your spider's next meal. Usually not harmful to a spider, the ones you need to look out for are the ones that hang out on joints and other areas that are more vulnerable and easier for them to prey on the spider.
If the spider seems to be unharmed by them and in good health.......I wouldn't worry. Even us humans have tiny creatures hitchhiking on our bodies, that we can't see with the naked eye.
