Sex? Kind? Need help please . And not eating...
It looks like a mature male Aphonopelma sp. and that set up is shocking.

Give it dry top soil as substrate with small water dish Nd a hide.


Alternatively, if you found it outside, release it.
 
Mating season is over in Kansas. It will just die if you put it outside. Freezing temps. If you want to keep it till spring, give it a nice setup. Meaning dry dirt (like topsoil from home depot) and a hide, like a half log from a petstore. And a bottlecap or condiment cup for a water dish. It may never eat again, or very rarely. Mature males are not too interested in eating.
