@ErinM31 I don't know how they know either. Unless they don't realize that penultimate means the one directly before the last one. Maybe they think that it means the same as immature?
@ErinM31@VanessaS Penultimate is always technically a guess, but when a male is close to its maturing size, it's listed as penultimate, meaning the dealer suspects it will mature with its next molt.
I wouldn't want to guess at that. Some species can be very difficult to guess at. I wouldn't even try to guess when my B.hamorii will mature. Even if you are one moult off in your guess - it could mean up to another year before they mature.
Nope, I'm not guessing. Mature or immature, along with size, and I'll let someone else guess.
