@ErinM31 He had good taste in females, did she eat your MM? Chalcodes and bicoloratum are my favorites out of the Aphonopelma genus. I am not particularly interested in the rest of the genus.
@Jmanbeing93 No, had two successful dates with both of my A. chalcodes females and none showed any aggression.
Not A. moderatum? They are quite stunning, in my opinion, although I also admire the more subdued beauty of many of the species. Thankfully, there is a wonderful variety of T's -- part of what makes the hobby so addictive, right?
@ErinM31 A.moderatum is ok, but A.chalcodes and bicoloratum are just really impressive. Head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to Aphonopelma. Right, the diversity is amazing. Let me know when your girl drops a sack!
beautiful A. Chalcodes. I have one that was a beautiful bleach blond when I got her, now she's darkened over the years. she hasn't eaten in months, I wish she would molt so she could go back to that bleach blond color again. still love her, she spends the majority of her time in a bamboo tube I bought her long time ago.
