Idiothele Mira

Rare moment of the I.mira out on a rehouse before it hid itself.
Lovely T and you can see the blue emerging! My little one hasn't figured out that it's supposed to be fossorial yet! It's webbed the top of the substrate a bit but mostly hangs out on the side of the deli cup.

@IamKrush No, I hadn't. I've done that for larger slings but had not found that to be appreciated by the little ones. My tiny Aphonopelma and Euathlus slings have made their own burrows against the side of the container but perhaps that is not conducive to a trapdoor burrow. I will try making a small starter burrow for my little Idiothele mira. :)

@IamKrush Well, I made a small starter burrow; we'll see if my little one moves in or makes one of their own. For now they still believe themselves an arboreal species! I love my fearless little hunter!

@ErinM31 it may take a few days. Mine took about a week before it capped the burrow with a door. I have a video on my phone of it feeding today. But cant post it on here unless it has a link:/. I hope your T finds its burrow and enjoys it:happy:
