Sold to me as a P. fortis, but looks more like a G. pulchra. Very docile with a 5" leg span. My only reserve about calling it a pulchra are the red hairs on the undersides of the femurs.
I see where you're going with that, but the red hairs are only on the underside of my spider. All the pictures of alticeps that I'm finding show the red hairs on top, as well.
I take it back. I think you may be spot on. I guess the solid red was right after a molt. I'm seeing several more pictures that look like dead ringers, now.

this T is grammostola genus for sure. the reason that I think its an alticep is because it does not have the features of other grammostollas sp.
G iheringi = lacks the reddish rump
G pulchra = close feature but has the shape on its back
G acteon = not fuzzy enough and the shape is different in the back
G formossa = its too dark to be this sp.
