The sub looks bone dry in all your pics. Definitely not good for a strimi. Not saying that's what is causing this issue per say, but it's something that needs to be fixed if it's dry.
@beaker41 Ahh ok, I would personally probably keep the whole tank damp, but with a "wetter" side. I've not actually owned any Theraphosa, so take my comment with a grain of salt I guess. If you still have her molt, maybe upload a pic of that. Maybe the old molt will help explain the bulges.
