T Toes

Lets all take a moment to admire how adorable tarantula toes are shall we?
Picture was taken right after a molt, that is why it is still currently on its back and all feet are together.
T was not touched or disturbed in the process of the molt.
Yes, tarantula toes are the BEST!! One of my favourite photography subjects... second to the spinnerets... hence my profile photo.
They are miracles of nature.

@Casey K yes! But actually a male!
He's not as blue now that he's older, but right after molts he still has a little on his legs and around his eyes. It fades rather quickly though.

@nugget that's a male?! What in the world am I seeing between the interior book lungs? I swear that looks like an opening to a furrow!!! Lol....That's gotta be the most deceptive pic I've seen on AB, lol....Beautiful T, though!!! I love how the peach & blue come together on that species! Nice pic!

@Casey K That would be the connection between the abdomen and cephalothorax. Or maybe I'm just seeing things because of my fever lol.

@Nex no....You can see the book lungs above that "opening". The connection you're talking about is above the top pair of book lungs.....
