Mesobuthus Gibbosus Underside

Was wondering if anyone could help with sexing. To be frank, I've never seen those two little bits under there before on another scorpion. Guess it's cos these guys are ALWAYS on display where as my others are hiders. These guys climb the walls regularly.
I'm not sure if this is the case for all scorpions, but i do know for some the flaps on the stomach can be used to determine the sex. If the flaps have spikes in a comb like formation its a male if there is just flaps no spikes it is female.
