A. Chalcodes

My 3 Inch female A. Chalcodes named Dot
With your water bowl placement in the corner, that's one way to keep your guy hydrated!

My adult A. chalcodes is the same with her waterdish. Always at the 'shore' with her feet touching the water. Interesting behavior for an arid species.

Mine does that too! She likes to sit in the water bowl when it's dry or there's just a tiny bit of water left.

It's monsoon season in AZ and much of the Southwest, from whence chalcodes come. We get higher humidity and often a storm in the afternoons. Chalcodes keepers should allow the water dish to overflow a bit and perhaps spritz habitats lightly once a week, starting in late June or early July and continuing through mid to late September.
