Almost looks like a Banchypelma vagans yeah 90% sure it is. anyone else? PS Not a spider but a tarantula. FYI

that carapace looks a little too red, but it might be the camera angle playing tricks on me. If that's the case, i'd say b. vagans or s. rubronitens, the mexican or panama red rump, respectively. Can't say for sure tho, sorry.

I agree that this is a B. vagans, that was the first species that came to me when I saw the pic.

On another note, ALL tarantulas are spiders, but not all spiders are tarantulas.

Tarantulas don't fall into the "true" spider group, but that does not mean they are not spiders.

Yea this looks like a vagans.. Deff. not a brazilian red rump though, it has 2 much of a red sheene on the carapace.

B. vagans is mexican red rump not brazilian
