I love taking pictures of my kids. Here is my first tarantula that I ever got, she is the one that got me started in this hobby. One soon became six. More pictures to follow.
@TheInv4sion I have a Canon T6i, and use a 60mm macro lens for my macro shots. Also use a tripod sine most of the photos are at a longer exposure, too long for hand held at least. The nice thing about tarantulas is they do not move all that much, unless eating of course or being crazy spiders. I was looking at getting the 100mm macro lens but just a little out of budget and the 60mm is a little smaller and easier to handle.
