Australian T, more than likely either Selenocosmia stirlingi or Phlogius(Selenocosmia?) crassipes.
She's female and 3 years old, can anyone identify or let me know how to tell the difference between the two species?
Thanks!!
I'm not that clued up when it comes to aussie Ts but I believe the Stirlingi is a brighter tan colour. This is a nice looking T. Does the legs look a lot darker than the abdomen and carepace in natural light?
She's darker with her heat lamp off, a light brown, but really depends on her lighting. Her legs are the same colour as her abdomen slightly darker where they meet her body.
And thank you for the complement, she is a really beautiful girl.
I think you are on the right lines with Sterlingi but then again I don't know a lot about Aussie Ts. I hope someone who owns a few can confirm for you.
