Ephebopus murinus sling

I purchased 2 Ephebopus murinus slings from JohnDapiaoen and he sent me 3! ^_^
I keep each in a 16 oz deli container -- larger than I normally would a sling, but this gives them space to build large webbed burrows and, I think, makes them less likely to teleport when I open their enclosures!
If you want to do it and yourself a favor then make a start burrow for it. It will be happy for it. And lovely T BTW;)

@louise f Thank you, I think so too!
I think I had made little starter burrows for all of them, but evidently the one I made for this sling was not satisfactory (perhaps this was the one I made against the wall in the hopes of being able to see the sling while in its burrow).

It is fascinating to watch the behavior of the sling who already has an extensively webbed burrow: It was not long after I dropped in the pre-killed cricket that I saw it being pulled back into the burrow. Then the sling emerged without the cricket and proceeded to touch lines of silk and lay down a few more (I assume it was checking for signs of predators and/or more prey nearby). It then returned to its burrow and emerged with the cricket, performing the "feeding waltz" as it ate it's meal at the entrance to it's burrow -- a good vantage point to alternately vanish from site or grab more prey should the opportunity present itself. ;)
