I had a look now, it is either between a C. meridionalis or a C. pillansi.
But i'm not completly sure. Probably have to wait till it's a bit bigger to confirm!
You are right. I am not sure it is a Ceratogyrus. Those two species almost looked like mine but also not 100%.
At this stage it can be anything.
All that I know is that it is burrowing like crazy!!
Its a Brachionopus species, and probably un-named at the moment. These are super common in South Africa. And it is probably close to adulthood. These max out at around 6cm
