What is the background information to this spider?
How did you aquire it?
What information about it did you get?
etc.
all this can make a difference

Most likely a Lasiodora sp., Possibly Lasiodora klugi

i don't trust pictures to represent the real setae colours, so you best take a look at this page and compare it yourself:

keep in mind a spiders appearance may change during it's life cycle, so while they discribe Lasiodora parahybana as a chocolate-brown colour my two older females are basically black, the real differences between both species can be seen in the redness of the setae on the opisthosoma

nope, definitly not A. geniculata, but they are similar to Lasiodora klugi, just with rally car stripes xd
Damn. I have an A. Geniculata right here next to me, and i could swear they look really identical. Even the butt, with the slightly ginger hair. Must be the Hamorii/Smithi phenomenon.

differnent genus though

they are still closely related i bet, but there must be some morphological feature that was significant enought to place them in seperate genera,
i have never really looked into that, but hey you could be the one combing the WSC for it

Really? I'm no expert, but this T looks like an A. Geniculata to me.
Definitely not A geniculata. Can't really say why, but to me in genics the white coloration on the legs are much brighter and pronounced than the one shown in the pic above. I agree that this is probably a Lasiodora sp..
