Being sold as a Brachypelma boehmei mature female. Is she a boehmei or a boehmei x baumgartini hybrid?
I just wanted to make sure. Her coloration seemed a bit light to me, and after reading about hybrids and seeing pictures of them, I started to wonder about her. Looking at another post on here comparing boehmei and baumgartini (linked below), her markings seemed a bit ambiguous to me. Thank you both for helping put my mind at ease. :) https://arachnoboards.com/threads/brachypelma-baumgarteni-vs-brachypelma-boehmei.295564/
If worried about the legs not being as vibrant always bear in mind that a lot of pics are altered to highlight.

The biggest and easiest way to decipher between the 2, is that baumgartni have a black carapace like the hamorii. Bohemei often have some black (even an "emilia" teiangle) when younger but the carapace is usually a solid orange.

That's true, it could also be the lighting making her look less vibrant. I noticed that baumgartini had a black carapace, but I wasn't sure if a hybrid could possibly take after the boehmei side more on carapace color, but I suppose it still probably wouldn't be as orange as hers. I appreciate the help. :)

Your welcome 😊
It always helps when you have about 60 Brachypelma like I do and then you always have a side by side comparison when needed 😊
