Looks like a male. Seems to have molted recently, so if you still have the exuvia looking at that would be more definitive. Great colors, even from the bottom!

Next time he molts, I'll get a pic. If it end up for sure male, I'll just enjoy watching him for as long as I can. I kept a couple of tarantulas 10 years ago and then moved, and I just recently started keeping them again, and this little guy has made me fall even more in love with tarantulas than I ever have before! Made my heart just burst with joy
