Bought it as Nhandu coloratovillosus but someone mentioned that I may not be. I see what they are speaking of with the knee stripes but neither of us are sure if they are just like this while young and growing out their pattern. Any answers? About 1.5-2”
That's a Brazilian whiteknee tarantula (Acanthoscurria geniculata)
Thank you, that’s what the other person suspected! Do you know how I should go about telling the shop I bought it from? I’ve had it for a while and want to tell them without sounding like an idiot or rude lol. I hope to get a job there one day in the future.

Unless the shop you bought it from is producing them, then it was most likely misidentified when they got it from their source. Another possibility is that they got both types in an order and mixed them up at some point. Are you intending to return it to them since it isn't what you thought it was, or will you keep it anyway? If keeping it, then why bother pointing it out? Just know that you'll want to double check anything you get from them moving forward (which you probably would want to do anyway). If you're going to return it to them, just tell them you've done some research and found out that it isn't what you thought you were getting and you don't want it. Take some photos so you can show them the differences. Hopefully they'll be reasonable and work with you, but if not you'll get to decide if you want to do business with them in the future.
