Those four dots clearly visible on the abdomen are the book lungs (how the tarantula breathes). What someone looks for when sexing a T is the area in between the top two book lungs. If it is female there is a slit/opening with lips/flaps, males have a dot or patch of hairs. If you look up epigastric furrow, or epiandrous fusillae you will find some detailed more info!
