Unfortunately, they are quite new to the hobby and nobody has successfully been able to get theirs to recreate the funky lid. I've got photos of wild burrows, but they are not my own. I did though, get one to make a lid last night in less than 8 hours, so hopefully it will start decorating it soon

This time around, I'm pretty optimistic. The lid is "D" shaped (being hinged from the straight edge) which itself isn't unusual, but they somehow manage to carve little notches all around the edges of the lid that make it look like the pinched edges of ravioli or similar pasta. No other spider I'm aware of, Idiopid or other, displays this behaviour, and I am unsure if they do so by chewing it off or using their feet.
