0.1 Theraphosa blondi

One of my two girls that just molted. Grown quite a lot(which is normal for this genus), currently around 16cm(6.2 inch).
How old is she and what ist the bodylength?
I received 4 slings in march 2020 when they were 2i. Body length I didn't really gauge, but I think 6-7cm is a good estimate. I do want to note that when I knew I had 2 pairs, I started to feed the females more heavily, and moved them to a higher temp shelf(for obvious breeding purposes). Now the two girls are two molts ahead of the two males.

so you are going to pair siblings?

I'm also wondering this... Would the males not be long dead before the females are ready?
That's why I am now trying to grow the females quicker. For the males, I feeds them much less and keep them at lower temps to stagger growth rate. Like I mentioned the females are already two molted ahead of the males, and I think they could mature maybe in more two molts. So we'll see.

I don't think I mentioned they are siblings haha. But even if they are, if I am able to have both sex mature at the same time, I do plan to pair them.
Did you get them all from the same seller at the same time? If so they surely are. I don't know if there can be implications to inbreeding or not.

Yes I got them from the same breeder, this guy breeds tons of Theraphosa spp, so maybe he had several blondi sacks at the same time, and just randomly picked 4 from all the slings, I'm not sure. There is no scientific study about implications to inbreeding that I know of(if there is I'd love to read them). Given blondis are a bit harder to come by, and can have locality issues, I want to keep it simple and just try to pair my 2.2 when the time comes.
