They are surprisingly very quick yes. She doesn't have a name, I have 230 tarantulas and so I would have to go through the baby name book to name them all. Ha ha
I have only named one of my Ts. The one in my avatar. She is called Genie (a Acanthoscurria geniculata). She, along with 8 different Brachypelma species, live in my bedroom, the rest are in a purpose built room in the garage.
The neighbours refer to my home as The Spider House, hence my user name.
Wow that's alot of t's I am compulsive I would probably still have to give them all names , I even name the birds that come to my garden lmao and very cool that they can still be so fast at such a size I may have to learn more about this sp

I did go through a phase of trying to name them all from GOT characters and also make pet names out of the scientific names but my attraction span stopped me from fulfilling my goal. Ha ha
The only thing to watch out for really on the Theraphosa is the humidity and ventilation. They like higher humidity and as a consequence, also require good ventilation to stop any stale air. Clean up crews are always good as well for the Theraphosa. Not as hard to keep ad many make out in my experience.
Deffo something to look in to as there is nothing more special than seeing a huge spider in great condition. Truly awe inspiring.
