I bought this tarantula today, I’m completely new to tarantulas. the pet shop advertised him/her as a “pink toe” so I did some research and thought i was getting an avicularia avicularia which i don’t think it is, I would appreciate any help, thank you :)
That's a Ceribena versicolor. A desirable and very pretty spider as already stated previously
For information and to help you on your tarantula journey, before reclassification, they were identified as Avicularia* versicolor. They did however retain the "common" name of either Antilles Pink Toe or Martinique Pink Toe....despite not having pink toes at all.
*Avicularia is the genus that are almost all given a "Pink Toe" tag from a common name perspective.
They are an arboreal spider which means they need height and Cork bark/losgs/plastic plants to anchor to rather than a flat enclosure so hopefully this information was given to you by the store.
