Spider Fishing (♀ Trichonephila clavipes)
The web of this elderly female golden silk orbweaver is too fragile to hold prey for long, but if you tie prey up where it just rests against the web, she'll eat it.
Wow how thoughtful, caring and fascinating! Her lifespan must already be longer than the same species of spider in the wild!
 
I cannot express how stupid my peabrain is. I thought she had already looped that gremlin like Spiderman. But the web structure looks like she would have to do that a few hundred THOUSAND times.
