Hello. This specimen is identificated as Avicularia avicularia by seller but I don't think it's true, it's more like Avicularia avicularia morphotype 6 (metallica) because of lack of the red sets.
Can you help me?
Sure thing. White dorsolateral setae definitely mean it's not A.a, the one everyone knows. As long as yours has white tipped setae on its body, sort of like fiber optic lighting, then it is most likely M6 99.99%
sp. Kwitara River looks a lot like M6- some say the same species and merely a color variant. I'm not so convinced given that River has not been examined by science yet if I recall. River has an aqua-green hue to it- the "Green Pink Toe". Some are quite different than M6 at least as adults. I haven't seen juvi pics with close to adult colors for Kwitara River yet.
They are much more common in EU than in USA unfortunately.
