Xamiatus rubifrons juvenile
Unsexed (hopefully male) red jaw. The 2 I have from the locality this one comes from are quite aggressive, and will activately investigate and attack even the slightest movement near them. I don't say that about many spiders

It's very interesting behaviour indeed, one of the only spiders I would confidently label as aggressive instead of defensive. It hardly even threat poses, just runs over and bites whatever moves while stridulating quietly

Hyperdefensive maybe, odd for sure. Makes me wonder how certain animals evolve this way.

Might just be an insane feeding response.
