I'm curious, just how close does your camera get to your creatures when capturing these images? I've taken some okay-ish pics of mine up close but my camera has to get within an inch of their body!

So, I use a 100mm macro lens. I this picture, I used also a Raynox DCR-250 closeup attached to the lens. That's why I was able to get closer, I believe I was about 12, 15cm away from the subject. Also, none of my pics were/are cropped.
