Hello! I’m researching the care of this species. Can’t really find much on the care. Anyone have any tips? I found some info on jamiestarantulas.com but that is it. I’m not sure if this is a species that I will get, but would like to be prepared if I decide to do so. Thanks!

I'd keep them fossorially and moisten a corner every week. Mine was out a lot and was pretty quick. He matured out some months ago so I gave him to a local breeder.

Was your male sexually dimorphic? I mean I've seen photos of supposed C mascatum that looked brown and not orange. I'm wondering if the photo was a mistake, or if the males aren't as brightly colored as the females. I have a tiny specimen and am just curious.
