Ts take longer to harden, the bigger they get. That's also why it's advised not to feed adult tarantulas for 1 week after a molt - because of their still soft fangs. This hardening time will also increase with every subsequent molt of your N. chromatus. All advice on here is out of love for the animals

Yeah I know, I love my T with all my heart and I do all I can to give her the best life, I wouldn’t pick her up if I knew I could harm her that’s why I waited a while till she showed signs that she’s hardened
