Green jumping spider

This little "mopsus mormon" was my work buddy today, spent most of the day on my left knee while I drove an excavator.
Fully agree and a half decent size for a jumper too
Yea absolutely, ive only found one bigger species than M.Mormon, which happened to be on a jobsite last week. I wont lie, i literally thought the 23mm behemoth was Phiddipus Giganteus. Would have photographed if we werent standing wall frames in drizzling rain lol.

Ive noticed with these M.Mormon that females become terrified of males if they're guarding a sac, but havnt discovered why

Huh that's interesting. Ive thought about bringing some home this summer, we get green, black and some neat mixtures of both colours. Maybe it's just curiosity but these little dudes seem to have a certain amount of intelligence in their actions.
