1" Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens [molt sexing]
I took a up close photo of my green bottle blue tarantula molt today.

She's small... Maybe a inch. With this photo... It's it possible to determine sex or the difference only come up when the tarantulas are bigger?
It looks like something may indeed be forming where the spermathecae would be developing on a female, but the molt is too small/image not clear enough for me to feel comfortable making any certain judgment. I'd personally wait and try again next molt.
 
For that small spiders you need to have like a microscope or very good eyes to see the spermatheca
 
Ooo wow, nope I don't have a microscope. I took that photo with the macro setting on my smart phone. I'll try again in a molt or two!
