I know i know...it's my fault...but no one is perfect. I'd like to perhaps have him meet that special girl. Unfortunately I'm not sure which avic it is. My best guess is either A. metallica or A. avicularia.
Yes this guy has the characteristics of juruensis Morphotype #2 (ex sp. Peru Purple/urticans). Not purpurea, easy way to tell the difference in pics is the pink toes. A. purpurea lack them. Also juruensis MMs are typically much larger, purpurea males are 4" max whereas juruensis m#2 males are typically much larger.
Only MMs lack pink toes on pedipalps with pink toed Avicularia species, not to mention, the legginess and overall one color (purple in this case). This is absolutely a mature male.
