Cupcake is my Hadrurus Pallidus. She's been underground since september, but yesterday it was 80 degrees F and she came into view to build a new entrance to her burrow. So happy to see her after so many months! I had faith but I was starting to think she was dead
I love how she's built her burrow up against the glass... you can see how her burrow holds together. Tail sticking up in the air, still shows attitude even when doing something as mundane as digging burrow entrance
I love this, cupcake is so cute. I have four of them. My largest one is Bertha, she weighs over a gram and lately she has been bullying a smaller one. He keeps making new holes but she steals them from him every time. Also one we have named Pinchy has went undergeound and we haven't seen him for days. We were getting worried but after reading your post, it seems ok.
Oh, i didn't know there was a chance they could eat each other, we've had ours together for close to a year, the two biggest Bertha and Bully shack up and sleep together, but they do seem like a family unit, but i notice they do pinch each other a lot. Hehehe
