Your best bet might be to buy one online, captive bred preferably of course. I don't see them often where I live (Quebec) so when my local reptile store posted a 3 month old baby on their website I immediately drove there and bought it. Babies are significantly more likely to be captive bred, and you make sure the frog gets used to human presence and is housed and cared for properly from the get go. According to most sources they reach and even exceed 20 years in captivity with proper husbandry which is great to me. They're not aggressive, contrary to what many caresheets say, in my experience they're just insanely food motivated (think something that puts geniculata to shame lol) so if you wiggle your fingers in its face it'll more than likely try to eat them but that's not aggression. Youngsters can be a bit flighty at first, but they mellow down as they get used to human presence and gain some size. Right now mine doesn't freak out when I open the enclosure, on the contrary it now associates that with food which is good but not if you stick your hand in there. Not a great choice for frequent handling tho as their skin is permeable so you need clean wet hands and I'd keep it to a minimum but being a veteran T keeper I'm sure you're cool with that 😉. Should be all and excuse the long post lol

Edit: you'll prolly want a bioactive enclosure especially for an adult with plants and dwarf white isopods and springtails because with their poop and the high humidity needed to keep them happy and healthy mold can be a real issue. You'll also want a land area and a pond with a decent filter for an adult
