Sexing B. Smithi
Hey guys, I asked some people and some said that it is female, some say that it is male and I am puzzled, can somebody please tell me for sure whether it is male or female?
Male. That dark semi-circle patch of hair above the furrow is the epiandrous fusillae - the grouping of specialized spinnerets specifically for sperm web production. It is visible in some males at smaller sizes than others and that is why it is important for people to always include the size in requests.
