it differs clearly from the descrition and the type material of Thrixopelma lagunas by the shape of the receptacula which are more slender and the tips were bowed to the outside.
in T lagunas the receptacula are shorter and broad.
@c.h.esteban because I got 2 lagunas and one sp blue from him, the first lagunas was a pruriens second one is this sp blue now I’m wondering what the 3rd one is lol
@c.h.esteban The spermathecae in these don't key to Homoeomma thus the pictured tarantula is something other than Homoeomma right? Homoeomma sp. "Blue" is just another made up pet trade name?
@AphonopelmaTX they’re definitely in the Thrixopelma Genus but they’re called Hommeoma sp blue in the hobby because they were never described that’s what I understood, I’ve seen people calling them Thrixopelma sp “Hommeoma sp blue” lol
yes and yes.
if you search in some older posts to this topic, i guess you will see that i say some years ago, that these "Homoeomma" better fits into Thrixopelma. But i still use these name because i want not increase these mess.
in the pet trade i found these species under several names like Lasiodorides..., E. pulcherrimaklassi, T. lagunas, T. cyaneolum...
it´s a real mess.
