Chromatopelma L10 male or female?
This is male. There's no flap (aka spermathecae or uterus externus) present.

For future reference, "L10" tells us nothing important about the T. You're better off telling us the length of the diagonal legspan in inches or centimeters.
 
@MrGhostMantis I'm not seeing one, and that "bald spot" at the center is something I see most commonly in the exuvia of a male tarantula, as that's where the epiandrous fusillae would be presenting externally on the T.
 
@Arachnophoric DLS is not used in this parts of world. We use molt("instar") number or BL.
@gisanter Seems to be male, spermatheca should be quite obvious at this size. You may try to let it dry and/or light it from underside to make presence/absence of structures more visible.
 
@Patherophis That's really interesting to me, since Ts won't all be the same size at the same instar due to natural variation among specimens. BL however I can understand.
 
L10 is probably subadult size i would think, so it should be a gairly sizeable T.

I say male.
