@OblongonotaFan321 you tried breeding them? How’d it turn out? I’ve ways wanted to try but I’ve never found a good way to feed the nymphs since they need live tree roots
Adults need a lot of heat and humidity to breed, at least 80 - 90F before males start calling. Potted maple or pine trees can work as food for adults and nymphs, I have one nymph that's been living on sunflower roots. Females will lay eggs in dried branches and they'll hatch in 3 - 4 months with the right humidity. Breeding was hard but I ended up with a lot of nymphs!
