@Feral Yes, I can see through it. The light shines through it, too. If you look at the emboli in the image I linked in the first comment, you can see the ghostly spiral of what I'm going to continue to call the spermophor until you link me to a scientific article telling me that the structure is called something else.
In this image, that spiral is now swollen and opaque, presumably with manspider juice. That he can shoot out of his weenie hands.
Shooty man-spider juice weenie hands. Also, STOP ARGUING OVER THIS! @Feral I agree with you, it is incorrect. @CommanderBacon stop acting rude! We are here to learn and teach, not argue!
@MrGhostMantis I'm not aware I am acting rude-? I was told I was incorrect, but wasn't provided with any evidence as to what the correct term is. I'd very much like to know, because both of the scientific sources I have found that identify this very visible structure call it the same thing.
@CommanderBacon you are just acting a bit untrusting. They know what they are talking about. You just are acting irrational. Sometimes it is best to take someone’s word. I agree that it would be nice to see a link to proof but, I learn by listening.
@MrGhostMantis They have told me that I'm incorrect, and I would like to learn what it is actually called. There are two pages of discussion now, without that critical detail. If they knew what it was called, a link to a scientific paper stating that and a simple "What you're calling a 'spermophor' is actually a ____" would be all that needed to be said, but we are still without that information.
