Yep. In general, I find Pamphobeteus species very gentle with each other. The male has a 8" leg span, so he also can hold his own very well. The female rushed him out of her burrow, but then settled down and cooperated. They successfully mated (double palp insertions, one at a time), and then, they just walk away from each other slowly. P.S. I've seen some bogus info posted on AB stating P. petersi is one of the smaller Pamphobeteus. That is soooooo incorrect. Both of these are 8" in leg span and I've had several females top out at 8.75". So, this is one of the larger-growing Pamphobeteus species.
